CHAGUANAS TAKES NOTICE OF CRIMESTOPPERS

As part of an ongoing branding exercise, Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago continues to donate a number of benches carrying crime-prevention messages throughout the country. The most recent installment of these benches produced by Pres-T-Con Limited are now located within the Borough of Chaguanas.

Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago is a part of community-based action programme, which operates 1,200 Units in 25 countries. It invites members of the public to call in to its 24-Hour Call-In Centre with information on crimes that they have witnessed. In its near 32-year old history, the Crime Stoppers system has proven to be Safe and Confidential. And today, it boasts internationally that “No caller’s identity has ever been revealed.”

Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago intends to make similar donations to other communities across the country.
